Online Banking and Bill Pay

Accessing your Southern Bank & Trust accounts conveniently and securely from a personal computer is now possible with Online Banking and Bill Pay.  Sophisticated security measures have been enacted to facilitate an environment that protects usersí privacy and security.  Vital bank functions can be performed twenty four hours a day, seven days a week.  Some of these functions include:

  • Reviewing balances and detailed transaction information
  • Viewing images of your checks front and back
    • Transferring money between accounts
    • Viewing transactions in real time
    • Downloading your transactions into Microsoft® Money, Quickbooks®, or Quicken®
    • Viewing and printing your statements
    • Payments can also be made on your Southern Bank & Trust loan

A demo model of the online banking interface is available to demonstrate the features and benefits of the service, before the commitment of enrollment is actually needed.

ATM/Debit Cards

As a convenient check alternative, Southern Bank & Trust offers the ATM/Debit MasterCard®.  This card serves several functions including allowing withdrawals and inquiries at an ATM, as well as making purchases anywhere MasterCard is accepted.  All activity is posted to the customerís monthly account statement for review.

With a Southern Bank & Trust ATM/Debit Card, you may make withdrawals at any ATM, free of any service charge.

24 Hour Telephone Banking

Our telephone banking service is offered free of charge to Southern Bank & Trust customers.  This allows for access and management of accounts securely via touch tone telephone twenty four hours a day, without the need of visiting the bankís physical location. Voice prompts guide users through the automated menus, but a customer service representative can be reached during normal business hours by simply pressing zero if necessary.

Direct Deposit

The ability to receive funds in the form of direct deposit, rather than receiving a paper check, provides many benefits to customers.  This method is often times more convenient and allows for faster processing.  Available in a wide variety of situations, including receipt of payroll, social security, unemployment compensation, and other government benefits, a growing number of consumers across the nation are turning to this banking resource.  Please contact one of our staff members to help you establish your direct deposit.
